When speedos became metric, us older people with our miles per hour speedos could buy a sticker to put on.
I used a different bright color permanent marker.
Any sticker maker should be able to make something.
Or get a gps that goes cuckoo or similar when you speed.
Not far from here is a shop that makes little gear boxes for speedo cables, to order.

shep theres a place in WA that got mine reading accurate for engineering etc... theyre called Applied Instruments and are located in Balcatta WA - you could buy a speedo cluster from suzistore and have them send it to Applied for calibration then shipped to you???

wouldn't it be a lot easier and cheaper to just have a bit of paper with the
numbers in the right spot and then stick it over the old numbers?

Well because I'm a uni student which means I love cheap and easy but I'm also pretty darn awesome, here's myspeedo fix for 30" rubber!!

Now 100 on the speedo is actually 100kph, 60 is ~55kph close enough for me

you could do that, its not as long lasting though... when i ran 215/75 i just knew that doing 58 was 60 thru 92 or so being 100km/hr...

if its to go over the pits / inspection you'd probably have to do something more permanent like a vinyl sticker, but then the dash light won't light them up at night either.

There was another thread bout this, and had a link to another website that showed how to adjust the speedo, apparently there is a dial under the face of speedo, if I remember my tools I'll b trying it this weekend

i dont know if you really need such a high reading speedo on a zook! 120 is pushing it haha

Shep, borrow a GPS, drive at zoned speeds, by the GPS, and take account of speed on the dial, (60k by GPS, 48k by speedo sort of thing)

Do this for all speeds zones, write down speeds, then go home, and use a texta to mark on the face of the speedo the correct speeds, or just remember.

haha we have 3 suzukis. 85 lwb sierra, 91 lwb vitara and a 2010 GV.

i normally just look at a gearing calc and drive to the taco but seeing as i am putting a new dash
into my lwb making the speedo spot on seems to be the smart thing to do.

skyman knows what i mean however i cant open the file.

There has to be a cheap enough place in the USA to get a correction box from? thats the best way of doing it as thenthe distances are all correct

Yeah just swap those numbers out for KM and you are good to go, either that or use them for a template.

There is a ever thingo in the back that will adjust it a bit for you too, want my to find some pictures of the lever? I am sure I have some in the 8,000 pictures I have taken of the Sierra.
