Ive just got my hands on a weber to replace the standard vit carby

its a weber dgav5d 016732 its got a base plate that was supposed to work for a 4k corolla. but supposedly jetted to suit a 1.8 - 2l motor. I have the capabilites to rebuild it just wondering what jets etc i should get for it, before i bolt it all up.

also there was some kind of breather mod or something? to minimise issues with angles wasnt there?

Its going to be going on a g16a with a .5mm overbore, 4-1 extractors standard cam and everything else, fully rebuilt bit under 10k ago.

also has anyone, made up an adaptor for say an efi vit airbox arrangement to allow for maybe a snorkle later instead of foam filter it currently has?

Mate have a read of that other thread. I posted some jet sizes that will get you around the ballpark setup.

ah righto i wasnt sure how different these webers were, the old bloke at work is great with carbs but he doesnt really deal with with anything smaller then v8s by choice

Search (on google) for sergeants webber mods, he does secret stuff to it and it's ment to then run on any angle....

ive had quick search on outers and couldnt really see find it (will i need a log in to access it?) ive never been over there before when i have a bit more time ill look a bit more.
