get to 70 kph and do the same thing etc etc etc

If you beleive this to be unsafe then get to 60 look at your speedo then remember what speed it is showing then stop. Put your mark on the speedo get to sixty check it and repeat the process.

Simple way way cheaper than gearboxs and stuff and iff you use a white paint pen you can scratch it off. Then you can go for bigger tyres and redo it.

X2, bin there, dun that.

Now, I just take the car out with the GPS, and go, right, 60k is (say) 55, 100 is (say) 90, dead fukin easy.

Just to be on the safe side, do 50 and 90.

Tacho yes. Both bar graph and digital. And it's clear through the day (it was half the reason I chose the acewell).

Mine also has fuel gauge/indicators etc, but these aren't connected (yet).

My trick is see what speed the GPS say's and remember on the speedo where the correct speed it and at what revs.

For example with the 31's I know that the speedo is 8-9kph out, so I sit on 70 to do 78 in an 80 zone. With my other tyres I know that it's 5kph difference, so 75kph is 80.

I also see how fast traffic around me is flowing and drive slower.

You may done done for getting 5kph over, but you will never get done for going 5kph under. And like what a copper once told me, The speed limit is not a target, It is the fastest you are allowed to drive..

In saying that I absolutly love those signs that say No speed limit, drive to conditions. :)
