Is this the same part? are they 100% interchangable with each other?

Neither engine has a cover cause they both use a timing chain

Sorry I mean the CASING that goes over the chain to protect it and to stop you loosing fingers.

if your talking about the rocker/tappet cover then yes either would fit as both engines are identical on the outside
