Thanks to all the helpful and polite people really is appreciated. To the rest enjoy living you negative life. That's funny that pic of the orange one I have them in a 20. The 22's will be 5 star with a bit of dish in a black colour. Slowly slowly I'll have it done I'll take the front wheels off with my mech mate and have a closer look really hope we can sort it out. Thanks again to the small amount of decent people who have respect for different decision.

Our of interest mate, have you ever taken the zook offroad at all? I think you'd be surprised how capable they can be stock. a decent set of tyres and maybe a lock right will get you a lot of places other 4x4's need big $$ to reach.
To my mind, butchering your front end and sacrificing 4x4 to fit bling wheels which will only be marginally cheaper than a set that fits properly, because you're worried about using the car for its intended purpose and the reason you bought - it seems pretty stupid, but it's your car - do what you want.
A few things to be aware of though, from an ex-ricer - those rims are gonna be a cop magnet, which means you better drive super carefully, and everything on your car better be legal cos you'll get pulled over at least once a month.
On that note, Using wheel adapters will earn you a fine any time you get a half-observant copper, so you might wanna think about some other methods of mounting these hektik rims.

^^ He is scared to go 4wding.

7" over in wheel size is going to see a nice defect for the ricer coily. Its not like going 7" over in tyre size. Chrome sticks out like dog balls. Black tyres do not.

I had a merc caked on 20's cops never did anything. Putting stock wheels on to pass defect is piss easy or a bodgy either way. I took it off road was fun but not something I can see myself doing every weekend or even monthly. I don't have any 4 wheel drive partners and when I took it bush got stuck twice lucky for some ransoms to help me out. Iv been on plenty of forums and Neva been so disrespected.

People on this forum don't undertand why you'd do it thats all.
Why buy a 4wd if you don't want to 4wd? that's the only point we're making.

www.boostcruising.com.au would be more understanding i'd say.

if you asked how to fit 31's to it you would have a completely different thread going... maybe you should keep an eye on any trips for the Sydney AZ crew & tag along to get some real off road experience.

OKay, so you sound pretty keen on going down path of fitting big 20" or 22" rims, but have you thought about what effect this will have on the ride quality?

Low profile tyres with coily suspension isn't going to be 'cool' for very long LOL. Your 'significant other' is going to hop in the car and want to get straight out again once you drive down the road a short distance. You will have a sore back from the lack of cushioning. Hitting a minor pothole will rely 100% on the suspension doing it's job (which it won't) as the rubber band tyres (needing eleventy billion PSI air pressure) will have very little shock absorbtion capabilities.
