Hey guys well I've bought a 99 jimny and am really happy with it. So I'll probably bombard you guys with questions!

What's the difference between side steps and sliders? I've found a pair of side steps but don't want them if they won't serve a purpose other than standing on!

Well your pretty much right.. side steps are just for standing on or a step to get into the car.. SLiders will protect the sills and be made out or much stronger material!
