Soo.. Took the vit out to Tim's thicket today. Got on the beach and got bogged! Then figured out that the diff lockers .. Well.. Don't .. Lock. I think thy are Siezed from the previous owner never using them .. Before I take it to someone who will charge a bundle to fix .. Anyone got any suggestions on how to figure out what's wrong/fix them?

What sort of lockers are they?

are you talking about the free wheeling hubs on the front wheels?

they are pretty easy to rebuild with some basic tools.

Wreckers or eBay get another set probably best, easiest option

have a look through this thread for an idea of whats needed to do to rebuild them, the vitara ones are slightly different but essentially the same.
