hey guys i have found a baleno for sale he hasn't provided me with much information on it all i know is it a 1999 model. So is that model the 1.6 or 1.8 as i can not find much information on them.

Thank you i did search but found a site that said it also had a 1.8 so just wanted to be sutr

It may be an option available.
And because 1.8 is so different, best to be sure.

Yes that what i was thinking dont want to waste money on something that wont work. i will just get him to check tommrow just to be sure.

Get some more info!

The G16b balenos ran from 1996+

Easier to convert into sierra's coilpack baleno's came in at 98'+

Pre 98' The GS are 1.8
So are the GTX

In 99'+ The GTX are the J18, Normally in wagons also.
The GS and GL are a 1.6 Normally in hatches and sedans.

Look ere:

-98 GS have swift gti style seats
98+ GTX have swift gti style seats also
But both of these are in 1.8's..
