I was rebuilding my manual window regulator today
and I'm having trouble finding strong enough crimps for the
ends of the cables. I tried the ones pictured below,
but the cable just pulled out when under pressure.

The second pic shows the slots they need to fit into.
I could tie a knot in the ends, but I'm looking for something a
little better than that.

Anyone got any ideas for what I can use?

Thanks guys.

Haven't got an oxy set. But I'll try my stick welder.
