Looking for a good looking winch type bull bars.
tube type ones always look cool but yer, open for any suggestion

dig through the members section - or search the members section for "jimny" to get all the jimnys on here... theres some great looking bars around.

i think if i end up getting a jim i will be building a lightish bar similar to the jml.. but with a winch cradle to suit the tigers2 6000pound winch..

There are also Alloy bars. Expensive but look awesome. 4 or 5 times the cost and won't take the hammering that many of us throw at them. I have managed to deform one side return of my ARB. Probably from slipping sicdeways into a Jimny hole :P

Why the heck would you pay 4 times more for something that is NO where near as good! I've had alloy bars on fourbies before and they're just useless.

I like the look of the Xrox bar, that looks tough.

If he is setting up as a tourer, then a lightweight alloy bar is the way to go, Will help keep fuel consumption and front end weight down a little, and are a bit more pedestrian friendly.

MIC front bar

Here's a link to some pics of MIC bar on my jimny. Has the winch mounted inside it. I think it's unique in that it has a tow hitch on the front, but it's a bit weaker then an ARB. Cheap though. They can sell you an alloy one too if you ask I think.
