I have had this discussion many times. When you ask a question in a forum or of more than one person, which I usually do, and you get as many differing answers, which will usually be the case, all but 1 person is going to be upset if you don't take 'their advice'.
So to save you any future dissappointment Steve. I will understand if YOU don't offer me any 'help' from this point on.
Paul. Thanks for that info. I'll pull the plugs and clean up and check the gaps before I try anything else. Perhaps I have caked an exhaust sensor in oil

It's interesting that you ask questions about a strange running engine, dont really give any back story to its cause, dont understand what most of the things to look at to try and remedy it are and also choose to ignore the advice of the person most qualified on the forum to help, because its not an answer you want to hear
You can just wish shit like this to fix itself and its really hard to even begin to try if thorough testing isnt possible
