Recently changed my transfer in my NT as it was jammed in 2H do swapped it out for a 1ltr transfer.
Once the box was out I decided to remove the shifter and check to see if it was the selector bush. I had a spare transfer bush kit so swapped it all over and blow and be hold it changes gears again!!
I places the shift retainer thing back on and it returns back to being stuck in 2H again. Take it off so the shift is just sitting in there and it moves smoothly through all gears!!!

Yeah the retaining ring is located properly it's almost as if the shifter clashes on the retainer!!
Any ideas????

Are you sure the retaining ring is rotated and seated properly?
