was hoping someone might be able to help with a wiring issue i am having with my 1.6 conversion into my sj80
i can't seem to get power out of my computer and into my relay's?
checked all earths and all seem ok
any advice would be awesome and alot cheaper then calling an auto elec lol

What are the relays for??

In majority of the cars on our roads the ECU will switch an earth to a relay not a positive.

Fuel Pump will be switched by the ECU using a negative..

As for the main relay.. Without seeing a diagram I am assuming that it is the main relay that supplies power to the ECU only when the ignition is on. It is usually switched via a positive from an ignition wire.

If the ECU isn't receiving power from the main relay then everything else won't work.

Once again though I have not dealt with g16 wiring before and am only going off a few other engines that I have installed (mainly Nissan Rb, ca, sr and some other ones)

prob sorted now im getting a really weak spark
distributer cap is a bit crap hoping its the only reason he isn't kicking over
and not another wiring issue
