What type and thickness are you guys using when making spring hangers? This is for stock rears. The internal dimension of the stock hanger is 67mm. I can get this by using 75mm deep RHS/SHS with a 4mm wall. If I went to 3mm wall I'd get an internal dimension of 69mm. Would the 2mm play be a problem? As usual I'm aiming for as close to stock look as possible.
Didn't know fatzook made them to be honest. I just had a quick look at his FS thread and i couldn't see them. Besides, the likleyhood of it lining up with where I need the hole drilled, angle etc are pretty small. Thanks for the suggestion though.
yeah, you will be fine. 1mm either side isn't the best, but if you just lay it down and hammer the roll of the RHS till it came into the correct size it will work. make sure you cut the face out hammer then mark out
