:helloo:

Just wondering if making an AZ sierra handbook has been suggested before?
Something with tech/basics in it for the beginner, to the more experienced, to the backyard hacker/fabricator.

Obviously this would be a huge undertaking by the community, but I think it's possible...

I have made a pretty simple mock-up, (please note that word) with a few suggestions and a few of the already available tech articles listed, (they haven't been stolen and put in there) but you'll get the gist if you look at the pdf.

I would obviously have to go through the appropriate channels, and get the right permission to start this, but I think it would be well worth it in the end.

I also thought that it might be a good idea to only make it available to those who have made a donation to the website (in order to keep it up and running) or those who have contributed to the site/book? Just a thought.

Anyway, just wanted to see what people thought about this. Maybe it's a shitty idea... Let me know what you think, and if you do think it's a shitty idea maybe leave a suggestion of what would be better?

If this gets enough positive feedback, and the mods approve of it, then it can start looking all jazzy and stuff, and be filled with things and such.

This pdf will be removed within the next couple of days, because I don't own or have permission for the googled images in the background.

Yeah I talk about it heaps but nobody is interested or pays attention to me, you might of missed the thread from a week ago about the same thing:)

A few of us have been playing around with some wiki software with a view to starting something like this with recurring information and how too's, sort of a real world manual, but with a software update looming we will wait and see what options that opens up to us

It will be a community effort though with hopefully some coordination and planning so everyone that has something to offer it will be involved

I find this a problem, as most people seem to have a hard time using the search function.
This is especially true when you have to sieve through 100's of posts even after refining your search, only to have them all called "my sierra won't start" or "what's wrong HELP!"

I do remember seeing something a little while ago, but I didn't pay too much attention.
I have seen this but it got filled up with dribble pretty quickly...
But after a good search I found this which is what I think you're referring too, and the all important topic that I missed.

Same search problem addressed and all, so if you do come back to this thread and read this I'm willing to help.
I'll also post in your thread to give it a much deserved bump to see if it gets any more interest.
Hopefully the software update brings some new options.

Cheers,
Robbie
