broken radiator cap lol

looking at buying this jimny but there is a problem that the owner has just found. the car hasnt been driven for 3 to 4 months. its a g13bb. whats happening is when topping up the water in the radiator and then driving it no longer then 15 mins it starts to lose 300 to 500ml of water. the other thing is the water isnt dripping out when the car is sitting. i havent seen or driven the car so im just asking for suggestions.

i hope not she is taking it to the mechanics wednesday. head got replaced about 2 years ago . do you think it could be a pin hole in one of the water pipes, when the hot water expands it starts to leak?

any engine that looses 500ml of water in a short timeframe with no water dripping under it hasnt got an external leak of any kind

Either it was empty for some reason and they filled it then the thermostat opened and burped more air making it look like its lost some or its got real problems

ive got them to run the car for 10 to 15 minutes standing still in a dry area to see if it just had some kind of air block. that should tell me if it has a leak or a bigger problem. when it goes to the mechanics it will be getting preasure tested to check for any leaks.
