hey guys, i have a 92 soft top sierra and i have a lot of play in my steering i was just wondering if any off you guys know how to fix this?

Check:

Tierod ends- no play in them, helps with 2 people, 1 to steer back and forth, 1 to check
uni joint in steering shaft-no play in it.
rag joint-not ripped
If all else is good, try adjusting the screw in the top of the steering box. Little bit at a time,Dont screw it in too much, Where your steering is centered, thats where all the wear will be. So if you adjust when the steering is nice and tight when wheels are straight, you might not be able to turn!

and check the uni jiont in the steering shaft near firewall

Also make sure the outer splines arnt slipping on the shafts. had this before! Scarry!
