Just bought a tank with an inbuilt pump, thanks Plum
Want to make sure it has the pressure and flow rate to power my 4AGZE
Anyone know the specs for the Vitara pump?
I think it might be a tad shy...

The generic replacement pump is also listed for WRX and 6cyl subarus, if you dont think it will keep up its an easy replacement

Plenty of generic four billion horsepower pumps on ebay too, spend 5 mins looking around there is heaps of info

yeh saw the pumps on ebay, I was just hoping to get the tech info on the standard one, if it has the flow then I dont have to change it

I had 2 issues with the 4 billion hp pumps on my g16b
1 was the farking racket from the back of the car
2 it was suppling so much fuel I dont think the factory reg was copeing too well as it seemed to be over fueling quite badly at lower revs.

I went through bursons fuel pump book in the end and settled on a mpi Camira pump as its ext and similar in specs to what my little 1600 would really require to run correctly and most auto parts joints will carry them, and near SILENT. Only down side to my pump is its different sized inlet and outlet barbs but thats an easy fix

I tried busrons firt before I posted here, there book only had dimensions it didnt have any specs.
I was going to just run the pump for a bit and see how long it takes to shift 3 litres of fuel, think that would be accurate enough?
