Are following switches backlit ?

1. REAR WIPER
2. REAR WASHER
3. REAR DEMISTER
4. CIGARETTE LIGHTER
5. PW SWITCH ON DRIVER'S SIDE
6. PM SWITCH
7. HAZARDS SWITCH

Depends are you just being lazy??

Takes 2 sec to pull stuff off a Jimny.

if you really must know.

1. REAR WIPER; usually on front wiper stalk so no
2. REAR WASHER; same as above
3. REAR DEMISTER; usually yes as well as in indication light to say its on
4. CIGARETTE LIGHTER; in an old Jimny No
5. PW SWITCH ON DRIVER'S SIDE; guessing that is Power window, age of your car No
6. PM SWITCH; guessing power mirror, age of your car again No
7. HAZARDS SWITCH; age of your car id say most likely not.

things that usually do have back lighting is dash cluster, aircon fan, aircon temp, aircon air direction, demister button
, radio. in newer cars there is more

Jimny ('99) rear wiper/washer has two separate switches, it is not on the stalk............to get to them I need to pull the whole front panel off....but thanks for the effort.............

Anyone else with a definate answer ('99 Jimny), would be much appreciated ?

another way to tell is to look at the switch to see if they have semi clear plastic for the pictures on them.

OK, I will pull them apart (switches) on the weekend to see if the little globes are blown.....................

i mean just look at them from the outside, if its clearish you should be able to tell.

id sugest replaceing them with LED's if you can, as they last allot longer and you wont have to replace them for pretty much the remaining life of the car.
plus you can choose any colour you want them to be rather then i think its red that they usually are.
