Hey I have some weird shit goin on with my Sierra. First up my cd player cut out, I can deal with that but now my dash lights don't work all that come on is my highbeam indicator bu that goes off when I put my highbeam on, also my stop/tail lights don't work now or my parkers. My front low and highbeam still work as normal. Ohh and If I put my foot on the brake the highbeam indicator lights up to. I have done the basics all fuses r sweet and my main earths good. I'm starting to think the relays for the lights don't exist coz I can't find them. Any ideas would be sweet coz I'm running out

park light or one of the headlight fuses are blown

dont check them by checking for power on either side of it, remove the fuse and look

Cheers buddy was the brake light fuse. Will never just check fuses with a test light again as that failed me big time

its a strange setup, whatever makes it all go funny also makes it look like you have power on both sides of the fuse

youll probably need to find the short that blew the fuse as well

when mine went there was dirt and moisture in the brake light socket. kept shorting it out. quick clean and a hit of WD sorted it out.

Had the same problem with mine.

The wire harness for the left tail light had been rubbing and had rubbed through one of the wires and was shorting against the towbar.
