I have searched but I haven't found much that can help I am having trouble getting my new 1.6 to start, it turns over, has fuel but no spark. I get 12v at the coil when ignition is on but only 0.6v at the dizzy
Any ideas?

Has fuel? So the fuel pump primes for a few seconds then turns off until you start cranking again? Fuel injectors pulse when cranking?

Fuel pump primes, and I get a constant 12v at the injectors that drops a little on cranking

That tells me you are possibly not getting injection pulses either. Do you have a node light you can test for injection pulses? If you don't have them, you also have no fuel and this is most likely due to an ignition pickup problem. Is it just a vit G16B with the coil on the firewall?

Do you have a pic of the dizzy? I assume this engine has been transplanted into a sierra and you did the wiring yourself? Dizzy should have 2 wires coming off it and going to the ECU. Check these carefully. It would also be worth while getting a node light to confirm weather or not you have injection pulses. This will tell you if the comp is actually getting a pickup signal from the dizzy or not.

i have already checked and traced the wires from the dizzy back to the ECU, red goes to pin B3 and white to B16

I used a test light (not sure if works like a noid light) and got nothing at the injector plugs, I tried a multimeter and it looks like I'm not getting power there either

Problem solved, I went back and checked the loom and by chance when I reinstalled the loom I had the igniter hanging and noticed it was sparking to the body, turns out it needs to be grounded. I now have a spark and injector pulses. Thanks everyone for the help
