just from reading the factory service manual they use the same computer(auto and manual) and the autos are controlled by the computer.

there electronic shift with a "kick-down" cable.

have a read of a factory service manual to get all the answers you seek. if you need a .PDF of it I can e-mail it to you.

Yes, the auto is cable shifted.
I've done Manual to auto conversions on 4 cylinder vitaras, but not a V6.

This is a fairly involved job though - the physical conversion is easy, but getting the trim, pedal box etc will make it fiddly to end up looking 100% factory.

I'd be surprised if the Auto TCC wiring was in the manual loom, so you'd really need the whole wiring loom from the auto. If the GV is anything like the vitara, you can't easily separate the engine/TCC loom from the body loom.

I was thinking H25A GV cause I read V6 as in 2.5l.

but your talking about a regular Vitara maybe with a H20A 2L.

Just to make it easier go to this website, you can download a plethora of manuals for your Vitara and Grand Vitara.

I've searched everywhere on the net and can't find one that has the SV620 included. I did read the they run the same wiring as the sv625 but you can't belive everything you read on the net.
