You can't transfer the WA rego into Melbourne, but you can purchase the car with rego. Hooki can inform his RTA that it's been sold to you and then you can run the rego down.
The rego can come in handy for driving to/from inspections etc.

I'm not happy,

tried to convince wife and son that Lachlans LJ would be ideal for Brody to learn to drive in.

Wife didnt like the idea at all, Brodie didnt even want to know 8O

I can kinda understand the missus, but whats up with kids nowdays 8O

think I'll just go hide in the shed and sulk. I need a cat (so I can kick it)

Bugger Stephen... i thought you'd have snapped it up either way =) lol - and if you had a cat you'd likely shoot it before you kicked it.

I've recieved alot of interstate interest but at this point in time I'm looking to sell locally. I've just put up a gumtree ad and I've listed it for an extra $500 so I'll have to see how that goes. In a perfect world I'd love to see this thing go to a suzuki enthusiast but thats unlikely, hopefully the next owner treats it well :|

If I haven't had any luck in the next few weeks I'll get back to the eastern states people that have contacted me.

thanks. :)

Hey Lach mate put it on eBay I have had most luck there. People seem to think this is the only place to sell Suzuki related stuff but good as it is it is still a small audience

I reeeaaaly wanted to snap Lachys LJ up- the only way it could be better would be if it was a 2 stroker!

just cant work out my son- he wants either a charger (cool choice son- but no bloody way) or a falcon ute (aint gonna happen sunshine)
Tried explaining the sensible stuff about the zook compared to any other pile of junk he could get for the same money and it went in one ear and out the other.

Brodie is heading towards being a tradie (refridgeration mechanic or possibly plumbing) he will probably end up with a 4 pot ute to cart his work stuff around, but in the meantime- Lachies LJ would have been great to teach him to drive, with good visibility and with all the work done already- top reliability.
Any ute he gets for similar money will be a rusty beaten up p.o.s. with god knows how many k's on the clock.

I'm still sulking, its cold in the shed, and next doors cat is staying on thier side of the fence for some reason.
