WELL THE SUBJECT SAYS IT ALL, IM RELITIVLY NEW TO 4X4ING AND I HAVE A 99 JIMNY, STOCK, BUT IT GOES WELL OFF ROAD ALREADY, TAKEN IT OFF ROAD ABOUT 15 TIMES NOW AND AM HONING MY SKILLS, BUT IM PRETTY OVER THE ROAD TYRES! SO IM LOOKING TO UPGRADE, THING ID LIKE TO KNOW-

- BEST PLACE TH GET TYRES AT A FAIR PRICE?
- WHAT SIZE TO GET WITH A SOCK RIDE HIGHT?
-WHAT BRANDS?
-PROS N CONS?

Not sure about size as I don't have a Jimny but for tyre stores I just bought Coopers from Taleb Tyres, which is linked to Tempe Tyres and St George Tyres. They're really cheap and service was good. Doing a Google search has founds lots of positive reviews.

You may get away with 215/75 without a lift, I am not sure as I raised mine first. So without a lift possibly the stock size or 215/75. Any more than this and you are going to need to change the gearing on the Jimny which is expensive. With the 215/75 you are a bit limited in brands. You also need to decide if you want a mud terrain or an all terrain. The choice might depend upon how much bitumen driving you do. The BF Goodrich tyres seem to be a popular choise but I have the Hankook Dynapro MT's and are very happy with these.
