So the charming thing is jammed in neutral and the stick will not come out.

Can I remove the front part of the case (the part that holds the FWD output and the stick) whilst it's in the car? My main concern is bits falling out, I have a dirt floor shed you see. I'm also not sure if I'l be able to slide off the front part without removing the stick. Are there any crush sleeves ect I'l have to replace?

Anyone got a diagram from the parts manual?

Thanks

Hayden

No, you won't get the front case half off because the stick will be engaged in the 4H-N-4L shaft and it won't slide off.

The non-switched case is different in many details to the switched case, but close enough that the links to the switched case technical stuff that Scorpy gave will help.

Here's a breakdown of the non-switched case. I'd remove the bolts marked in red to assist in removing the lever.
