Hi, I have noticed a whine when accelerating in my 2000 GV Sports edition. Seems to be from engine bay area and only occurs under acceleration. If I back off the gas the whine stops. Any ideas as to cause? I think it has occurred since I changed the oil and replaced filter using Castrol Magnatec 10/40 and a Suzuki filter. Used Nulon oil cleaner in the process.

mine does the same under heavy acceleration at high revs. doesn't make any other noises, it does come from the engine bay and is an auto. it's mechanically A1 with very good compression and vacuum.

it almost sounds like engine noise you get through the stereo but from the engine bay.

its always serviced every 5000km's.
