Hay guys just wonder would a gti twin cam head fit on a g13bb motor???

Can it be done???

Has anyone done this??? Could u give me some pointers???

Does it help with power/ torque etc???

I'm pretty sure they are I heard that the most of difference is in the computer

i would think it'd be the same issue as putting a 16 valve vitara head on an 8 valve vitara block...

Can u put a twin cam head on a single cam motor? Like a standard sierra motor

Not at all. A g13BB is a 16v motor, so a 16v G13B head should be fine. The BB head and vitara head are VERY similar (may even be the same casting), and we know that a G13B head bolts onto a G16B block.

IMO, you should just swap in the complete G13B motor. It has a stronger bottom end, and you won't have to stuff around with timing belts etc.

But check legalities before hand.

When did the gti's motors end production?

older motor is a newer car is a no no

G13BB is 16 Valve but SOHC
GTi is 16 Valve DOHC.

Totally different head but it will fit.
