I have approached offroad shops about doing RUF conversion they wont touch it. due to legalities and getting it engineered.
best bet will be an automotive engineer, or just a mate with a welder a grinder and some knowledge

Hey guys I just paid Just_cruizn for a body kit, but my messages are hanging in my outbox and won't send! Is there anyone whom actually knows him that could let him know, or give me a phone number for him?

cheers!

thought i should update this thread while i am here. I have purchased a 1.6 for her, and a set off 33's. Progress has been held up due to engine blowing smoke and she wouldnt pass roady. I am going to drop the 1.6 in and 'hope' that the inspector doesn't notice its a different engine, he is happy to pass it the second he sees no smoke. Issue is that i need a body lift to fit her up, s lets hope he doesnt notice that! and if i put a bonnet scoop on to avoid lift, he will be asking questions i would think! will post photos of engine once in, should be over the next week or so

If that is all he is looking for try every oil additive you can find to see if you can stop it smoking just to get it through roadworthy then mod it. Doubt there'd be many mechanics out there that won't notice a body lift.

Mate she's running on pure stop smoke as she is. Starting to foul plugs overheat. Her time is up I think.

^^You can get extended rubber brake lines made up for $20 and braided lines from $30 at brake and clutch shops.
