ONLY problem is the GV rims i'm hoarding are 16x7's and the recommended rim size for the tyres is 5.0-6.5.

I think that there would only be a problem at the lower end of pressures and popping off the bead or is there something that I'm missing. Or could i just chuck tubes in them and be no worries (or if i go real massocistic fit internal lockers )
Any comments?

I'm running 700x16's on GV steel rims with tubes and even at 4psi they hold on pretty good on a Sierra.

Easiest way to hide a big spend is to buy something reallly important at the same time. Then you have the whole, "yeah you remember when i bought xxx I bought those tyres. I did tell you honey...."
Works a fucken treat cause it layers the guilt of not listening properly on Guarenteed winner! (until she hacks my AZ account and im fucked!)

I dont bother to hide that stuff anymore. I just tell her and when she arks up i remind her of all the expensive things she has...ie expensive jewelery, $30k new car, expensive camera and the fact she doesnt work also helps........
