ive just bought a swb nt 86 sierra with an efi vitara engine and i need a new throttle cable is there one i can buy and just throw in or do i have to do some fabbing to fit a new one cheers
Depends what cable it was made to work with. I think the stock vitara cable is too short for a sierra. I have a swift cable in mine, but that required modification to the accelerator pedal.

AFAIK stock cables wont work. I'm using a camry cable, I think it was a 3rd gen. Corrolla and Celica's of the same era use the same type of cable, only the length differs. Will require two mounting screws/bolts on the fire wall.
I have a 91 Sierra swb with g16b vitara. I run the vitara cable. At the pedal side I just put the cable through the fork and crimped the shit out of it. Works fine. Some people drill the end and bolt it.
