transferred my good box and motor into my good vit... (has run 10 000 k without a hitch) the box has decided not to smoothly select out of 1st and second. it wont push into 3-4-5-and r

only yesterday it was running fine ..
is this a common prob or am i in big trouble... I'm gunna consult Manuel and see what he says just wondering if anyone had any ideas?

not something simple like the usual sierra issue of stuffed gear stick bushes?

it does go over to the 3-4 slot but its hard, and it does go into 5-r but its harder. feels like its stuck

got the stick in properly? its pretty easy to think its on right but isnt

if the stick is in right it will be either a clutch, pressure plate or cable problem. your firewall is not cracked?

found it..
while removing box from donor.. the bush found its way behind the gear shift arm.
when it was installed in the recipient. i had the bush from the previous box on the dash..
couldn't see it will i removed the shift lever case... and dismantled it.

ughh
*headbutts wall*

all good now
