Just a quick question. does a hilux cv fit inside a sierra knuckle?

No..
In fact a hilux CV only JUST fits in a hilux knuckle. They have flats machined into the bell to enable install and removal.

x2 they dwarf Sierra cv's. Even chromos are a tight fit.

any one know what a GU patrol cv is like in comparison to hilux?
also any could some one measure the diameter of the lux front axle tube on the outer end...

GQ is 93mm diameter GU is around 10mm bigger
Some one got a chromo Sierra CV around they can measure a diameter for me?
