got the procomp 50mm lift off them. recieved it in 3 days. get extended brake lines with it and heavy duty tie rods. i didnt worry with castor correction and it seems fine.
long springs in the front, longest of the long in the front drivers side. handles goos, i got it with the heavy duty spring rate and es3000 shocks, the shock bushes are rubbish and are a bit wide to fit as well, but i have aftermarket bushes waiting for it.

The Jimnybits spring are made in the UK and the shocks are made by Pro Comp is the USA, if you don't want the hard ride go for the ES1000 they are the softer of the Pro Comp shocks. And as joel said the two longer spring go on the front and the longest of the two go on the drivers side. All you need are 1) Jimnybits 50" lift with the ES1000 stocks. 2)Jimnybits or Tough dog adjustable panhard rods. 3)Super pro camber correction bushes. 4) rear shock repositioners brackets If you buy all the parts at same time from Jimnybits you will save money on the shipping.

i didnt worry bout caster correction, and i cant tell the difference, so i used that money on bushes to get extended brake lines, all up it cost me less than half of what a local lift kit was going to cost me. shame shame shame australian market.

mate, some may call me stupid, but i reckon for a 2" lift, you wont need castor correction bushes, i didnt worry bout them and i cant tell the difference. with the lift and longer flex, the stock brake lines are a bit short and you risk ripping them out at full extention, so i wouldnt bother with the caster bushes and i would purchase the extended brakes lines instead.
if you buy the bushes, you will have to pull the radius arms out and press out the old bushes, line up the new bushes correctly and press them in, than re install the radius arms, its a bit of a muck about but not to hard. but IMO not worth it for the 2'' lift.

ive noticed with my 2 inch lift that the steering on highways is very vague and alot a bump steer at 110 is quite scary thats why im going to get come castor correction but thats just me and also what joel said extended brake lines are a must heaps of people say u don't need with 2 inch lift but i wouldn't run the risk as the back sits very tight on a flat road Also if u don't want your diff going an inch one way invest in a adjustable panhard rod ill be getting the front one only as the back ive found hasn't moved at all(plus the stock jim ones are like twigs)

The Jimnybits lift is one of the best lift on the market for the price, the two jimnys in the photos are on jimnybits lifts one with the 2" lift and the other with the 3" lift, but with the same size tyres. Attachment: DSCF0002 - Copy.JPG This is my jimny soft top with the Jimnybits 2"lift +205/75/15 M/Ts Attachment: 38813_10150215817430247_855291_n.jpg . And this is one of the Big Jimny members with a 3" jimnybits lift with 205/75/15 M/Ts. http://www.bigjimny.com/index.php/forum

I was looking at this and was told that a 3" lift causes more stress on the car parts, but it looks better I think

Here a link on the Big Jimny web site on how to fit castor correction bushes. http://www.bigjimny.com/images/document ... bushes.pdfI've only fit the correction bushes so the steering self centres because the roads over here are s@@t. This is a photo of my front radius arms with the bushes. Attachment: Copy3ofIMG_0002.jpg Hope this helps you. BAZ.

just get a 2" lift, and if the front sags a bit, you could use coil spacers. thats all i am planning on mine. plain and simple, but practical for what i use it for.

jimny bits stock them its one of the choices of the lift kits, well the diesel motors are a bit heavier so means they will be able to hold up your petrol motor and if you end up getting a bar one day. also just a note the rhd kits have 3 different size springs in it shortest one in rear passenger next shortest in drivers side rear the the 2 long ones in the front (to make up for driver side sag) and the lhd kit has only 2 different size spring . but i havnt got any sag on drivers side yet and they 3000-4000kms on them

Wont need the panhard bracket. Just get the adjustable panhards. Didn't worry with the brake balance and can't notice it.

Gough wrote: is it worth gettibg Jimny Rear Panhard Relocation Bracket and Jimny Brake Balance Correction Bracket ? If you are buying the adjustable panhard rods you don't need the relocation bracket that only adjusts the rear of the jimny ,so you will sill need to get the front adjustable panhard rod. You can make the brake balance bracket.
