Hi All.
I know this has been covered a few times. Spent a few hours with the search function.
BUT
The Mrs. is rebuilding a 96 coily basically ground up.. At the moment we are fixing some body damage and re doing the interior. But next up is the engine.
It has the g13b, 70***Ks. We are ripping it out and putting in an EFI engine. Problem is, which one.
We have the chance to buy a crashed 99 Jimny with the g13bb. Its a complete car, A/C, P/S, engine, loom yada yada 170***k.
Id like to go down this path, as we would have everything we need. But im just concerned that the 13bb wont be 'enough'
The car is going to be a DD for her. It wont be a serious offroader.. Most prob 29's, 2-3inch lift, It will be armoured up though.
She's a bit of a hoon and likes to beat traffic and such. And it will also be used on the highway. So will need to comfortably sit at 100-110kph and also be able to overtake easily, and I dont want hills to be an issue.
Will the 13bb be ok? OR should we go G16b?
I know the G16b has more power/torque, but getting all the required bits wont be as easy. But im happy enough to chase down all the parts

(note, neither of us has driven it more then 10 mtrs. So we have no previous knowledge of what the stock G13b is like)
