I've only been measuring whilst my roof basket has been on. With stock 205's and the drag I was getting around 350-400km. Now that I've got 31's on, I'm still getting 350-400km (with the drag from the roof basket).

My jimny is defying logic.

speaking of.. I was getting more km's while driving around thredbo/jindabyne everyday to the mountain, in witch I had to drive few parts in 4000-5000rpms, sometimes pushing 5000 over just to be able to get up to the hill with speed and not loose gear.

now that Im driving normaly in Brisbane with the odd trip to the gold Coast.. (so no more than 4200rpms) I get less kms..... like 50ish less

With a stock 2001 1.3 petrol Jimny driving in England I get 240 miles per tank. I dont do much town driving but main roads and motorways (and its flat!)

Cooler intake air temperature would make it run better

Here's my L/100 for the life of the car. You can see the cape York trip and Fraser Island also.
Some of these are slightly out with the bigger tyres, but not by much. You can see there is a really large swing in efficiency and 4wd etc

Brindog are you iPhone? If so the only app I have found that come close (and will connect to the ELM unit) to Scales or Tim's is REV. Also iPhone won't connect to any cordless unit via Bluetooth. You'll need a wifi version unless you jailbroke your phone. There are some apps for iPhone that are better than Rev but will only connect to a particular OBDII sender. If I did it again I'd research apps and costs first then buy a sender that suits but I bought Elm first so had to buy app to suit. Rev isn't cheap

It's a app called "aCar" takes a bit of time to setup all the service reminders etc, but it's pretty wicked at spewing stats at ya. Daily costs including services etc. And trip mode is awesome for tracking total costs. Fraser cost me around $912 including the kms put towards the next service etc. As well as permits and shit like that I logged too. Worth paying for.

Just put 9.1 litres in the Jimny (with about 4 clicks at the end to really fill it) after driving 97kms (as the speedo reads) About 15% driving around town and the rest on the highway.

Driving between 100km/h and 110km/h (between 4000rpm and 4500rpm)...and at a couple of spots 5500rpm accelerating after u-turning onto highway.

2010 Jimny/235x75muds and 20% reduction gears.
(extractors and a high flow cat - but unsure if that actually does anything except give the Jimny a nice note)
