Congratulations Joe on being selected for auszookers Zook Owner of the Month! How does it feel being honoured with the nomination for Z.O.O.M. 2013?

Yeah great since i got the pm this morning i've had a dopey grin on me face all day

So tell us about yourself. Who are you, What's the meaning to your username, Where do you live, and what do you do for a living?

Me name's Joseph
Joe is short for Joseph
I live in Rockingham about 40km south of Perth
I'm a factory manager for Michelin Retreads

How did you get started in Suzuki's & how many have you owned?

I always liked the look of sierras but the deal breaker was back in 97 when i seen Paul Pisani's sierra featured in a magazine and that was it i knew i had to build my own 8)
I've owned seven so far

How long did it take you to build your zook to what it is today?

I've had the short one for just under a year now

Any changes in store for your Suzuki?

Some more lighting and draws for the back is next to be done

What has been your best modification?

Dobinson springs & struts

What has been your worse modification?

Kumho KL7's

If you could have anybody else's zook, who's would it be and why?

Atari4x4's blagon, just cause it's clean & tidy & it looks to go some pretty decent places 8)

What has been your best 4wding trip?

A few years ago a trip down to Dwellyingup through to Brunwick in the wet

If you could go to any place in the world to wheel, where would that be?

Somewhere where there is snow but that's not stupid cold, Tasmania will do :D

Who are you closest to in the auszooker's community?

To hard to answer  i've meet some really good people in here over the years so ill leave it at that :peaceout:

Tell us what the wheeling is like in your area?

Dry and dusty atm  you've all seen the pics of the power lines but this year i'm keen to have a look at some more tracks down south ways

What other toys/hobbies do you put a lot of time into?

I've got a LTR450 quad bike that i've been thrashing around on for the past few months other then that beer  & boobs Armsup

What is it about the auszookers that brings you back for more?

The people  nearly every day that i come on here there is something that makes me piss myself laughing

What about the auszookers forum would you like to see changed?

No much at all really maybe get rid of the wingers :deadhorse:

So if there is just one bit of advice you would give someone just starting out with Suzuki 4wds what would it be and why?

Have fun in it :P enjoy learning what you and your new cool car can do before you start throwing money at it
If after a while you want to go down some harder tracks then change the things that will help you get down the harder tracks

When i had 31's on bullant she was a fun car to drive and went every where i wanted to go Armsup but then i thought bigger was better and wanted 33's and more lift  it became a pig to drive and i also stopped driving the tracks i liked cause it felt like it was gunna tip over all the time

The last five zooks that i've built

that's a brilliant idea, throw a few random shots in every couple days. i limited it to 5 pics in the interview so it didn't get flooded with images.

also post some trailer/atv pics while you're at it, zook trailers rule. Armsup

Hey Joe congrats mate. The guy with his head under the bonnet in this pic is that you or someone else ? It looks very much like a guy I wheeled with a few times several years ago whose nickname was Festa.

some good pic's there Joe & it looks like you've got Kate well trained, does she have any unmarried sisters?

+1 for the ARB bar, doubt Joe would be with us today without it. :(

Seeing Joe had to give a reason for his nomination, here's mine & it's a bit of a reminder how dangerous the road can be. Plus I'm sure there are people that probably haven't seen & read this story too.

Joe, clearly a zooker with a nice list of previous ride & a thing for boobies had been around AZ for short while & had previously been active on a few other forums then one day He posted this, viewtopic.php?f=1&t=7202&hilit=hospital+jaw

Having seen a few good stacks in my time that didn't end well he was pretty lucky to live through this one hence my ARB comments above & somehow through the whole ordeal he managed to keep a positive outlook & pull through it all. I read that thread for the first time in ages last night & I teared up a bit... so much for me being a tuff cunt.

After reading that thread again, it makes me remember how awesome the AZ community was back then & I want to try bring back some of that awesome & also a big thanks Joe for being the king of boobies.

I had only joined AZ a few months before this happened to Joe... i met Joe, for the first time, a few months after it happened, and saw his poor LWB Vit first hand, pretty shocking... 8O
