Forgot to post this last month when my father was changing the timing belt on my sisters excel. Basically once he realise there was no where for him to bolt down the crank pulley so it wouldn't move i went to google and read some neat tricks. Then i looked on youtube cause papa is more of the visual type. Showed him and satisfied we tried it. i just lashed the breaker bar to the wheel. took several key turns but it worked. Good to know, the only engine i can think of that it wont run on is some of the Hondas whcih spin the other way (or maybe they have reverse thread bolts)
The video that explains
The original video, has loud music judging by how the guy looks into the camer and say something i think someone may of hacked it and put the music on top
Honda like being different. They also run the motor around the other way in front wheel drive setups (motor on the passenger side, gearbox on the drivers side)
