Ok guys...looks like we will need to start getting some definite numbers now. Can everyone including the yes's from before reply If they are still keen/still have money left after the abortion that is Christmas.

Gee,

I'm still keen to make this happen. What I might do first is make the jig based on a GV with the trims removed. Allowance will be made for those who have a body lift.

Then I'll need to get my hands on a GV that still has the trims, and see what needs to be done to make it work. Hopefully, not too much.

I'm looking to start the ball rolling on these in the next 2 weeks.

I'd be keen too. Spotted this thread a bit late though, had already collected some tube and taken measure but am short on time and tools to make it happen by myself in the near future.
Trim ... not 100% decided. It does gather crap, but I like them for the completeness of the door bottom plastic design.

the sliders will fill the gap nicely. You'd hardly notice that the plastic was gone....
