I drive it everyday and tow my drift hill climb track car all over vic!
But just not sure really like the idea of coil springs sold diffs in a little 4wd,
And all ways loved zooks think its time for a change.
Let me have it good or bad

Coils and solid axle are the best things about a Jimny. :D

I don't think you'd be happy with a Jimny after the Cruiser. Jimny is great but compared to MWB it is underpowered, cramped and after mods would get similar fuel economy.

It looks like your setup is better to suited to the bush than towing, would the Jimny be a bush rig or daily drive? Have you got something else in mind to tow with?

Really depends exactly what you want out of it.

Wasn't planing on towing with a jimmy not a car anyways :-)
Just more of a bush rig fishing trips camping ect all I really use this for, apart from towing pob 3 times a year max.
But all ways had a thing for little or swb 4 wheel drives.
Just unsure all ways wanted to get a jimmy and as I was saying I like coil springs lol getting over leafs

I'll probably get flamed for this but i would suggest you keep the cruiser especially if you're going to be towing anything
It will have more power, more room/comfort....it's already setup and 'legal'
If you buy a stock jimny and if you were to get it to the state your cruiser is in....say goodbye to another $5K

A question i would ask myself would be....what will the jimny give me that the cruiser can't?
Food for thought

That's a Good way to look at it
Not going to tow with that for sure,

All ways had zooks and little 4wds + when I go camping don't take a lot just what I need so space dont really worrie me
Kind want something bit newer + coils! And think maybe time for a change but don't just be unhappy if I done make the swap over.
It's a head one for me this is why I asked.

And I like working on zooks doing things seeing how much better is how far a can get.
With this working on it is a pain everything cost lots and there's really no fun it kinda just gos most places, and ppl expect it to buy looking
, I like when they look at you 4wd and be like he won't get up there won't do that but then they do and do better then the big rigs.
After having this rig for a bit now I think that a jimmy ( after a lot of looking reading and pics) with a good size spring lift vit t-case some gears 30s 31s loockers will go more places flex better and work out to have around same diff height from ground with 31s? As my landcruiser with 35s
