Does anyone know what is the difference in the models in terms of the spring supplied by jimny bits?

There is a LHD diesel, and then the RHD petrol

The diesel ones will have a heavier spring rate.

can I put them on a petrol model?

I have a petrol but ordered the diesel springs , will it be a train smash?

i did sent russ a ticket, waiting for his reply,

The springs is already dispatched i think so its hard to exchange it, and i think the rhd petrol is out of stock,

fairly obviously if they were the same there would not have been a petrol diesel option

the disel springs are longer in the front to cope with the extra weight,

The springs are stiffer, I have the 50mm diesel springs in my petrol, was bumpy but with a bull bar a lot better and if you put in a winch it will drive pretty smooth, if you don't put a bull bar on don't get the diesel springs it will be bumpy

I dint want to start a whole new tread.

I recently check the website and now they are selling a new "all in 1" package for the 3" lift, witch is cool, I havent compare the price to doing it individually tho

but the thing it called my attention is that now the kit comes wih rear castor corrected radius arms too.

also with the 25mm prop spacer for the fornt, as the new arms move the axle bit forward witch is cool, but they dnt seem to have for the rear?. so why build the new arms if they dnt do the same as the front in put the wheels on the "right" place

also they ssay the the new rear arms are castor corrected too, so the shock relocation brackets are no longer needed as the axle is rotated back to stock. cool, but now the shock is on the original angle on the bushes, wonder if they would still pop out


either way just wanted to mention that.

also now they have a new option for the coils in a LHD petrol, together with the old RHD petrol and LHD diesel.

Please let us know how you find it. With regards to stiffness, ride height etc.

I was considering this option but found a local alternative that I am happy with for the moment.

Could you give us some measurements, perhaps from chassis to radius arm brackets (F&R of each diff), for comparison.
