Lookin at getting new tyres for the wifes 08 NGV. (Thanks Bohuler). Now whats the biggest tyre that will fit inside the spare tyre cover?

New tyres are Silverstone AT117 Specials in a 245/70/16. I know they will fit as we currently have 225/75/16's on it.

So will a 225/75/16 or a 245/70/16 fit inside the cover?

No. Only standard fit. 245 75 16 fit just without cover. Can take pictures if u like?

So got new tyres fitted today (Thanks again Bohuler) and we managed to get a 225/75/16 AT to fit inside the factory spare wheel cover. It's a very tight fit but we got it in there.......Im glad its a worn out.... If it was new I doubt it would have fitted its that tight.
