Hey guys,

I wanted to change my bulbs to HID, after looking online it seems that most kits won't work because on suzukis the ground switches. Also the kit only has a 2 prong connector while the zook has the 3 prong direct onto the bulb.

Any way around this that anyone has come across?

just bought a kit myself (won on ebay for $40 posted!) and it has a plug that just connects directly into the original light bulb plug. no cutting/joining of any wires whatsoever, completely plug and play. factory wiring should be able to handle it no dramas, but i'd done a loom upgrade ages ago anyway. my brothers had the same thing, his was about $200...

You need a h4 kit, if you're having problems you have te wrong kit.

It will be plug and play, and the stock wiring doesn't provide the power, it only swithches the relay.

Thats what I would have expected but this one has a two prong connector...

Going to return it as it didn't come with instructions either

two prong connector tells me its either not H4, or its single beam instead of the hi/low beam, or both of those options. you do need to make sure the kit you buy specifies that its capable of both high and low beam...

I was messing with a HID kit I have in the shed today, and I can confirm it is plug and play assuming you have a H4 kit. The weird light switching Suzuki use doesn't matter- it switches fine.

The bulb shape indicates it is an H4, and according to the listing it is meant to be high/low beam - which I don't understand because you'd think it would need more than two contacts for that.

I'm going to see if I can easily set them up in my spotlights, if not they're getting thrown at the seller

Turns out its just positive and negative so it can't be a high/low setup.

Nevermind, I spent a couple of hours today modifying my spotlights for the bulbs to fit and mounted them. They work well though I may get some clear spotties instead of the stock yellow ones.
