KT is getting a mini makeover in the coming months, part of which is fitting AC. I have the in cabin stuff sorted, I have the under bonnet gear from a coily and hope to be able to use most of that to get a factory look, but where I'm unclear is the choice of compressor. Being driven by the mighty F10a I'm thinking small is best, and I will probably go for something 2nd hand, so do any of you have ideas on what donor vehicle would have an appropriate compressor?

From a 1.3 will give you a compressor the right size for the system.

I was thinking a G10 swift with aircon might also be suitable. I found this the other day, its the factory install instructions for aircon, if you haven't seen it. Its for LHD but the same applies.

EDIT: Going by the rock auto listing X90, Swift, Vitara and Sierra all use the same compressor

No worries, I just assumed you had found a factory under dash aircon unit.

That site has some interesting stuff.

I would like a factory underdash unit, in fact I have the coily condensor but the old 1L internals just don't marry up, and so I will use this universal one which will replace the original yet still allow original vents etc, hopefully the only noticeable change is that air will flow from them :o
