anyone got a new windscreen for their sierra lately just wondering what im up for?

Got a good used one here with a rubber for $60

New screens fitted with new rubber are about $220.

any pointers for swapping one? I have one ready to go for my lwb. they are both in frames, thought I try to remove the cracked one before touching the god one !

I paid $88 for my last sierra windscreen. That was new.

When installing the windscreen get some twine/thin rope.
Insert the glass into the rubber.
Wrap the twine all the way around the rubber where it will sit against the frame.
Work your way around. I found starting from the bottom first made it easier.

I can remove two screens and refit one in 15 minutes with NO tools other than my hands.
Sierra's are the easiest car ever to change screens in.

Yes. Coily screens are glued in.

NO it doesn't include coilys.
Everything is different on a coily.
