Okay ive had my jimny sit for a few months without use. I now have a idleing problem. It revs just over 2k while idleing but when you go to drive it its revs normal. im thinking its the auto chock sticking but I dont no much about m13a engines. Ive tried every sensor. Vacuum hoses. Idle screw. And throttle cable, But nothing.

secondly I did the sierra transfercase swap and ever since my speedo doesnt work. Ive tried three different speedo sensor as well. Any one else had this problem

cheers

How close is the speedo sensor to the cog? Mine had to be within 2mm...

i also got 19 for a error code. there isnt a 19 on the fsm though? I sourced it down to two sensor. When I unplug the throttle control sensor and this other sensor on the intake manifold it will idle properly. If I plug any of the two sensor back in itll rev up to around 2k.

These are the two sensors

Also here is a pic of the gap betwen the speed sensor and the wheel.

start removing things from the problem. start at one end and go from there.

Check your Fuse seems to be the dome fuse in the manual. shown below

Image

from there check the connector on the sensor if its plugged in properly the contacts aren't dirty, check the main relay.
from there be more drastic.
prop your car up off the ground take the dash out chuck a multimeter on the speedo input wire turn your car on and spin the wheels a little (not too fast or you might shake it off the stands haha) and see if your getting a voltage.
if your getting volts your sensor is outputting but it might not be the right amounts you can't really check that any further without an oscilloscope.

see if a mate can lend you his known working sensor to see if its your sensor, (you said you have done that) while you're at it see if you can try his dash cluster as well.

this is the speedo sensor cable on the back of the cluster green connector,
Its the Yellow and green stripe cable PIN 11 i think.

Sounds like a thermostat or temp sensor could be throwing the error...

And seeing as you can weld, move the mount lol

Is that the heat temp sensor on the manifold? The car starts and runs fine with the two sensors above pull off.
