So back to Jimny's...

Is it looking like the way to go is to reduce the amount of loops in the coil?

Yes, but to maintain the same height you would need to increase the coil rate, which will make it harder to compressor the suspension.

Should go custom mounts.

Why? What i have now works for me - may not be perfect or ideal, but it will do for now.

just makes me wonder..... are this really at full flex????... if so, the coils are faaaaar away to get bind... so wht its whts stopping the flex?... its the shock?? or after seen the pics of the arms, its actually the radius arms setup who stop the car from flexing more as the arm/bushes cant go any further???... this could be a reason I think, but only would make sense at extreme flex (one wheel max up while the other is max down)... in a semi-flex situation, like hitting something with a bit of speed it would be a different scenario as the arms would be straight....

I might be going wheeling on monday, so if I can I would take a pic of my 45mm lift setup at full flex to see whts happening at the coil

I would say the front is at full drop because of the arm and the rear isn't at full drop because the shock isnt long enough.
I can get more drop out of the rear if I drop the shocks off.

From what I have read........
You guys are complaining about what should be expected ware for a custom 4x4
It appears that it is a good lift kit.
If you want adjust your bump stops it will mean the springs last longer, id suggest this for people on a tight budget.
On the other hand if you have money to spend and don't mind replacing springs more often go for it and have fun what's the worst that happens you are not happy with the cost add you extended bump stops.

ps its going to be a lot of fun trying to install this to my sierra........ still researching it and have someone who can modify the spring mounts just finding it hard to get the front shocks/struts

REALLY that was supposed to be funny I actually have know idea what I am doing, the only plan is to fit 31 after a lift kit of some kind.

But I really don't see the problem with 80mm lift kits (of topic a little) I have seen them on a SWB Pajero, owned it myself didn't do the mods but the car drove really well. Now that car having IFS and more top heavy then a Sierra or Jimny I don't see a problem with the kit and where I live yon need the extra chassis height or you will get stuck on it when trying to do anything harder the a moderate track.
