I've looked and it does appear dynamic tyres stock them here in VIC - i've asked them for a price as well as contacting continental tyres who are the reps in australia to ask who in australia has stock of them =)

anyone runs A/T3 All-Terrain cooper mate is thinking of getting some for his jimny 235/75/15, will they still scrub with a 2" lift

The AT3 is basically a road tyre that will handle some gravel work. They clog up pretty quick in the shitty stuff and don't clear the tread really well. There is alot better options in terms of a good A/T.
Also Cooper Tyres are a good tyre but have some serious strong sidewalls that is not such a good thing on a light car and they are expensive for what you are getting.

I did suggest Silverstone to him think they were Special at 215,75,15 and I can get a good reduced price on them not like a coopers.

The 29/7.5 16 is a Extreme Trekker2 "The Centipede" with the 3 rows of lugs in teh middle.

The picture you have there is of the Extreme Trekker "The Centipede" with 2 rows of lugs in teh middle.

Just a heads up if you thought that the picture was of the exact tyre you wanted.

yer i know i checked the simex page out just thought it was cool u could get them in a 29" all said and done its a great size tyre for the zook will be good for idleing around on the rocks too, also my gearing would be better too. (id have to upgrade the alloy housing if i wanted to do real 4x4ing but thats what the jeep is for

Something similar also come in 32*9.5, Will be trying those next. I reckon they may just fit without further changes.

The paddles out the side on shep's looked to be nearly as big as the diffs on my car his were 33's though. The majority of wheeling up here is mud.

i have 2 because i blew the gearbox to shit in the jeep and am saving pennies for a gen3 halfcut and a 4 spd atlas however this takes time and i needed a car to get around and i still wanted to go camping and mild wheeling etc (when i found the vit for $1,500 i could not pass it up!)

would you run this tyre? its brand new but has been fitted to a rim. Would it hold pressure at 10psi out bush? what would it be worth to sell?





ive been told by heaps of people that it will hold pressure, but i dont like it.

well i dont run a full size spare, thats a 31 and my spare is a 235/75 (29") so dont need it.

That will not hold pressure and if it did I would be very hesitant in driving on it. You 'could' clean it up and run a tube but the whole 'what if' shit come into play.

Is it really worth risking yourself, your rig and the safety of someone else on the road for the price of a new tyre?

What sort of age is on the tyre? There should be a date stamp of 4 numbers somewhere around the sidewall of the tyre. It will have 2 number for the week in the year it was made and the next 2 numbers will be the year (ie, 4502 would be a tyre that was made the 45th week of 2002).

The only tyres that I have had in the shop that sort of damage has happened to were old as trailer tyres that have gotten the beading rubber snagged as it is removed from the rim or old 2nd hand 4wd tyres someone has bought online only for me to tell them they are 10 years old and fucked.

its got 3011 stamped on but not sure if thats it. The guy i bought it off only bought them from a shop 3-4 months ago. its never been driven on.
