The new transfer is making funny noises.... I've noticed it's only when it's going up big hills under stress, the transfer stick will tilt towards the driver side and make a zzzzzz noise like the old one did but not as bad, except won't lose drive to the front wheels. Checked transfer case oil, all seems fine. I'm thinking maybe the mount that bolts from transfer to crossmember is worn out and flexes too much. Does anyone sell them aftermarket?

Anyone know where to get a replacement boot for the top of the transfer?

And can someone please put up a picture of where the transfer case breather is meant to be mounted? Mine was just hanging down...

Where did you get the t/case from? Surely it would have some sort of warranty if bought from a wrecker.
