So confused right now haha EFS 2 inch lift is the EFS kit what people here recommend sometimes. OME is what most on here recommend. I have de-rated blupacs and they are fine, and had full pack OME and it needed adjusting. I reckon getting the right spring rating is more critical than brand personally. Edited to make sense. Edited twice to make sense.

So the 65mm one is completely shit and not worth getting? Even with a leaf or two removed?

Go EFS they are the only ones i havent bent 2" lift is the way to go (take a leaf out if its too stiff)
Most important is you need to work out if and what you need first - dont just put it in cause you can

I don't think whether someone has bent a spring or not is relevant. It's possible to bend any spring.

How do I decide what to put in, can you guys help me out? Here's my situation and plans:
I'm an apprentice and until now I've had cheap shitty cars (or I've been a young hoodlum and broken them myself) and I'm moving on from things that attract police attention but are still fun, I love camping, my current daily is a van, so I camp in the back, tinny on the roof. One of my tradesmen told me about sierras as I was going to get a little daihatsu Mira or something cheap to run, so I'm not spending $100 a week on fuel. Cheap to run, reliable, potential to be a good fun fourby. Ticks all my boxes! I kept an eye out for a while and eventually found a 91 Sierra JX, fibreglass canopy, bullbar, new tyres all round, new radiator and a few other bits, but it had a cracked piston skirt, so I scored it for $1300, bargain! Planned on doing a GTi conversion, so I was glad the engine was broken, it meant I wasn't paying extra for something I'm taking out. But plans changed and I decided to just rebuild the stock engine from the ground up, dropped it off for rebuild Tuesday. I've currently got a 2"BL and extractors sitting at home ready to put in. Going to put a new 2" exhaust through it (only because the extractors finish as 2") And I'm going to give it a suspension lift, being a daily I decided on OME for comfort, but I'm driving a van, so anything will be an upgrade really. Being an apprentice money's a bit tight, but I'm not cheaping out on anything, I'm building it properly, but saving where I can. Eventually I'd like to run it on 31s with gearing and whatnot, but for now I just want to get it on the road. Now that you all know my life story, fire away with your useful thoughts haha

EFS, you can get them cheap from your mate and play with the pack. Unless you are doing RUF most bolt on spring packs will 'feel' and flex pretty much the same.

Throwing a spanner in the works but I'd go with OME springs and gabriel shocks. They are cheap shocks but they do an okay job. If you're really on a budget it is a good choice. I've ran it, along with various other shock brands and it is the one I came back to because it's cheap. I just recently bought a SWB hardtop with all EFS 3" springs and shocks with extended shackles. Before I even picked it up I went to ARB to get new springs because I thought the car felt dangerous on the road, it was too bouncy to feel like you had any control. After lowering it 3 inches with OME springs it is a whole new car to drive.
Do not put extended shackles on it. It makes the ride rougher and steering worse. N.T. could experience an even better ride in a leaf sprung suzuki without RUF if he just took the extended shackles back out.
If you're going to have a 2" body lift you don't really require any more lift. Remember suspension lift does not help to fit bigger tyres. Only guard work or bumpstops will so don't think that a 3" spring is better than a 2" spring, it's the spring rate you're concerned with.

Yeah I know that a susp lift won't allow bigger tyres, I'm doing it to be more capable off road and to get a bit more flex, I'm not on that tight of a budget to skimp on suspension though. I'll see what price he can do for the 2" EFS

What's wrong with the springs that are in it now? I'd take Tanshi's advice on this one. Building a super capable car and then putting it on its roof the first day out isn't the cheap way to do it. No offence intended. I've been doing this 4wheeling stuff for a fair while now and my car still surprises me sometimes.

I ran the EFS springs in a SWB tintop with KYB shocks. Had a bit of barwork on it, about 50kgs front and 30 kgs rear and the ride was 100x better than standard no more bottoming out.
