I don't have a wireing diagram yet and I was wondering if someone could please tell me which wires I need to bridge to bypass them. I guess they are on the wiring loom that goes into the shifter on the box , but there are 4 wires and I'm not sure which are which. Also are 2 of these wires for the reverse lights? If not which ones are they?

I have swapped the auto box out for a manual. I know its not ideal, but I got the donor car for free and the auto was on its way out. I haven't done any of the wiring yet and I'm not sure which wires are which.
The diagram I have shows B/Y & B/R for the starter circuit and R & Y for the reverse light - those are the four wires going to the "shift switch".
You could also use a volt meter or test light to identify them - you have four wires -
1) turn the key to "on" and probe each wire one by one, one should have +12V, that is the reverse light power source 2) turn the key to "start" and probe each of the remaining three wires, one should have +12V, that is the starter feed 3) connect one of the remaining two wires to the reverse light power source and turn the key to on - if the engine cranks - that's the starter wire, if it doesn't it's the reverse light wire. 4) well you only have one wire left - so if 3 is the starter wire, 4 is the reverse light, and of course - vice versa.
